Volunteers Needed for CAFB
Sometimes AFAC’s online calendar gets pretty full, especially on weekends. However, Capital Area Food Bank has reached out to us because they could use some extra volunteer help one Saturday per month at Arlington Mill Community Center. Here are the details:
Support around 400 households facing hunger at the Arlington Community Marketplace on the 4th Saturday of each month from 7:30-11:30am. We are seeking Spanish speakers to attend this outdoor (rain or shine) farmers market-style food distribution that offers volunteer opportunities from packing and handing out fresh produce to onsite registration and line management. Volunteers 12-17yo must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
