Successful Food Drive at Arlington Little League’s Opening Day!

On Sunday, April 3, Arlington Little League teams gathered at Barcroft Park for their Opening Day, their first since 2019 because of the pandemic. Teams of all levels were encouraged to bring non-perishable food donations for an AFAC food drive. Players from Wakefield’s JV Baseball team were on hand to assist with the food drive. By the end of the day, 2,294 pounds of food were collected! Thank you to all who participated and helped make this a successful food drive and we look forward to continuing this partnership!
