We rely on your generous donations of time and funds to keep us feeding our neighbors in need. As we often have many fundraising efforts and food drives happening simultaneously, we ask that you please contact us if you are considering raising food or funds on our behalf. We want to make sure your efforts are not duplicated and your time is well spent.
OUR VOLUNTEERS
We count on all of you to make a difference
AFAC depends on the help of over 2,000 volunteers. Volunteers bag, distribute, drive, glean, grow, help in the office and warehouse and organize and assist at special events. In any given year, volunteers donate over 50,000 hours to AFAC – that’s $1,500,000 saved in staffing costs that we can use to feed our Arlington neighbors.
