Volunteer Picnic

We had a fantastic turnout at our annual Volunteer Appreciation Picnic! Thank you to all of AFAC’s volunteers who help us serve our neighbors in need with dignified access to supplemental groceries.

This year’s award winners:
Volunteers of the Year: Dick Bauder, Charles Dinkens
Volunteer Group of the Year: Claridge House Distribution Team
Community Partners of the Year: Our Savior Lutheran Church and School, Solid Waste Bureau for Arlington County Department of Environmental Services
Special recognition went to Lucinda Robb for completing her 2 terms of service on our Board of Directors, six volunteers who have served 2,080 lifetime hours (equivalent of 40 hours/week for a whole year), and volunteers who reached their 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25 year milestones!
