MLK Food Drive Flyer Design Contest for Students

Eligibility: must be in grades K-12

AFAC’s Volunteer Department is holding a contest for students to help us design food drive flyers for the upcoming Martin Luther King Jr. holiday (January 18, 2021). The featured artwork will reside on the AFAC website for people to download who wish to hold food drives in conjunction with the holiday.

Your flyer should include something relevant about the holiday, donating food and AFAC. Visit our food drive flyer templates page where you can find our contact information, our logo, and our list of recommended food items.

A panel of judges will examine the art work and we will select those that are most inspirational and have the best use of healthy (non-perishable) food in the following categories: K-2, grades 3-5, grades 6-8, and grades 9-12.

If you have any questions, please contact us at 703.845.8486 x 302 or at volunteer4afac@afac.org.

Entries are due to volunteer4afac@afac.org by December 13. You will need to email it to us (or drop one off to the mail attention Volunteer Department: 2708 S. Nelson Street). Please include child name, parent contact information, and grade of artist.
