Grocery Store Food Drives

Grocery store food drives often occur in fall and spring each year. AFAC will park a van outside local grocery stores on Saturday and Sunday from 10 am – 4 pm, and try to fill the van with food donations.

We need three volunteers per two hour shift to help encourage shoppers purchase much-needed items for our shelves and load them onto the vehicle.

You’ll be outside and on your feet. This would be a great activity for a family or for teens who need service hours.
