Help Feed Families Through This Challenging Holiday Season

AFAC volunteer in green shirt handing canned goods to a woman behind a plexiglass barrier

Celebrating the holidays will be a little different this year. We’ll connect virtually with distant loved ones and share updates over bountiful meals in our own homes. We’ll still be able to have a large family meal together, even if we are physically apart.

For those greatly affected by the pandemic in our community, this holiday season will be very different. Jobs have been lost. Savings have been depleted. Refrigerators are empty and pantries have become sparse. The big holiday dinner? Their biggest worry is having enough food for the next dinner.

AFAC has seen a 45% increase in family referrals since the start of the pandemic. More and more new families are seeking assistance for the first time in their lives, in addition to the thousands who already depend on AFAC’s services.

Fortunately, you can help provide food to a neighboring family in need by making a donation to AFAC. Your contribution can be a gift of hope and relief in the form of access to free groceries that will fill the bare shelves in a struggling family’s kitchen.

The pandemic has caused us to see a higher number of families seeking assistance. As we approach our busy holiday season, AFAC is prepared to serve all in need with food, but can only do so with your help. Can we count on your support?

Make a difference this holiday season by donating to AFAC. Your gift will allow us to continue to support the many families in our care.
