SIMCAC Virtual Food Drive

The holiday season is a time when family and friends gather to share in the joyous season of giving. But many families, children, and seniors won’t have enough food on the table to celebrate the holidays.

Arlington Food Assistance Center’s mission is to feed our neighbors in need by providing access to nutritious supplemental groceries. The COVID-19 pandemic has greatly impacted the community as well as AFAC’s resources. Consider donating any amount to AFAC to help.

Here are some examples of what your gift can provide:

• $10 will supply a case of milk
• $16 will supply a 50 lb. bag of rice
• $20 will supply a case of eggs
• $25 will sponsor one family with a dinner centered by a roasted chicken for the December holidays.
• $35 will sponsor 1 family for 1 week to reduce childhood hunger in Arlington.
• $140 will sponsor 1 family for 1 month to reduce hunger in Arlington.
• $420 will sponsor 1 family for three months to reduce hunger in Arlington.

SIMCAC is proud to announce that it will match any donation through this campaign, to a maximum of $1000, so please open your wallets to this amazing organization.
