Boy Scout Builds Little Seed “Libraries” for Eagle Scout Project

Inspired by the success of the “little free library” movement https://littlefreelibrary.org/, Thomas Jefferson high school student Oliver Hayman has recently built three little seed “libraries” for his Eagle Scout project. They have been placed at Ft. Barnard Community Garden, Arlington Mill Community Center, and Aurora Hills library.  Like the little book libraries, the seed libraries foster the exchange of seeds by members of the community. Gardeners can take seeds from the library and leave their excess seeds for others.
