Amidst preparing for gatherings and seasonal festivities, this time of year brings a different kind of challenge for countless families receiving groceries from the Arlington Food Assistance Center (AFAC). For them, the holidays often come with increased uncertainty and financial strain, making it difficult to provide even the basic necessities, like food, for their families.
We are now serving more families than ever before. Over 4,200 families a week are coming to our doors, and since our founding 37 years ago, AFAC has served over 2 million families.
