Offsite Distribution Help

In addition to our main location, AFAC holds distributions at 19 offsite locations throughout Arlington. Most of these sites are run by a regular crew of volunteers who commit to helping out once per week or every other week. At offsites, volunteers may help with: setting up tables, wheeling food from the AFAC van into the building, giving out the food to residents, packing food for residents who cannot make it to the distribution, and cleaning up afterwards.

We are looking for a volunteer to help out every other Thursday at our Green Valley offsite. This site is run by our partners at AHC. The Green Valley site is located at 3215 24th Street South and volunteers are needed from 10:30am-12:45pm. If you are available that that time MOST weeks and are interested in helping out, please email the AHC volunteer staff at volunteer@ahcinc.org
