Hunger Action Month is a month-long awareness campaign to inspire action against hunger. Throughout the month of September, AFAC will work with local partners including businesses, libraries, ART Transit, and area farmers to educate the community about food insecurity and to invite all to join in the task of feeding our neighbors in need. With full plates and full hearts, you can help end hunger.

Learn how YOU can be prepared! If a disaster occurs in your community, you should be ready to be self-sufficient for at least 3 days. This may mean providing for your own shelter, first aid, food, water, and sanitation. In times of disaster, communities look to food banks to help provide food for those affected.
