Scouting for Food 2020 Update

Every year, the annual Scouting for Food drive collects more than 50,000 lbs of food donations for AFAC on the 2nd Saturday of November. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the local Boy Scouts will not be organizing an event this year.
However, several local troops have notified AFAC they will still participate on their own this year and collect donations in their respective neighborhood routes. For anyone who receives a bag or other notice, please follow their directions so your donations can be picked up by the troop. If you do not receive a notification from the Boy Scouts, do not leave donations by your door.
Anyone who wishes to donate nonperishable food to help AFAC prepare for the holiday season can drop off their donations at several locations across Arlington, which are listed here: https://afac.org/donation-box-locations-nov-2020/
