Update: Empty Bowls has sold out of tickets.
Empty Bowls is a luncheon fundraiser for AFAC featuring uniquely designed handmade bowls. The event is held at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church on Super Bowl Sundays. Bowls are created by potters at local ceramics studios and students from local high schools and university art departments. Delicious chowders, soups and breads are made by local restaurants chefs and desserts are baked by our own volunteers. Tickets are sold for this event and guests get to take home a handmade bowl.
Each $35 ticket includes a bowl of your choice to take home, plus soup, bread and dessert. Children 5 and under are free.
All proceeds from this event go directly to helping feed the 2,200 Arlington families AFAC serves each week.
